We used Trek S500s to get around. They use that Shimano Nexus internal hub gearing system, it's actually really good.

About The 1750
"The 1750" is the online home of the 1750 commute. We meet at the Western side of the Pyrmont bridge at 1750 and commute to the north-western suburbs. Our route takes in Lilyfield Rd, Five Dock, Canada Bay, Concord, Rhodes, Meadowbank, West Ryde, Eastwood and Epping with people heading their own way at various points.
Most of the 1750 crew are members of Lidcombe Auburn Cycling Club and enjoy a race or two on the weekends.
If you want to join the ride feel free to come along but be warned the racing spirit does sometimes get the better of us.
